DOING THE RIGHT THING TO HONOR SPIKE LEE

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing, Lee’s 40 Acres and a Mule, along with Jordan brand, brought in Kindred to create an experiential homage to the beloved classic. For 24 hours, we transformed Fort Greene wine bar Margot into our take on Sal’s Pizzeria, a nod to one of DTRT’s more iconic fictional locales. We designed, produced and programmed this lightning-fast activation, packing it full of activities and art for maximum cinematic effect. Custom displays showcased photography by Satchel and David Lee, as well as Spike’s original Jordan shoe, the Spizike. Lee fans sipped cocktails and snacked on fresh slices while shopping from a collection of Snipes-supplied shoes and merch, along with custom items by Talla de Rafa, capping their visit with a photo moment with the legend himself.
